Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the Meek.

Meekness: to be strong but accommodating.

Meek is more than gentle.

Meekness as a social virtue.

Meekness is a Kingdom virtue.

The meekness of the Lord Jesus Christ is our mature goal.

Christ's self description, Matthew 11:28-29.

Christ's meekness is exercised in strength.

Matthew 21:5

John 5:19-21

Christ's meekness is exercised in love.

John 15:13

1 John 3:16.

The meek shall inherit the earth.

God preserves his people through all opposition.

Helpless but helped: Psalm 37:10-11; Psalm 62:5-8

Suffering but saved: Proverbs 3:34; Zephaniah 2:3

God's blessed promise is sure.

Imitating Christ, we are to be growing into meekness.

Meekness is from above.

James 1:17

Meekness is clothed in the full armor of God..

Meekness bears fruit when rooted in repentance and faith.

Groom your heart with the beauty that appeals to Christ.
