That the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified

Pray that the word of the Lord may run swiftly

The evangelization of the world is on its way!

Matt 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

Psalm 147:15 He sends out His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.

Pray that the word may run swiftly, just as it did with us.

1Thess 1:5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, ...

Pray for the pastors and missionaries of the church who sow the word.

Pray that the word of the Lord may be glorified

Glorified in being believed as the word of God

Acts 13:47 "For so the Lord has commanded us: 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.' " 48 Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

Glorified in conforming sinners to Christ.

Col 1:28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

Glorified in our lives as we believe and obey it.

2Thess 3:4

1Cor 9:26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Pray that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men

Because the word of God receives powerful opposition

Because the word of God has to penetrate stony unbelieving hearts

Luke 1:74 To grant us that we, Being delivered from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear,

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!

Pray with confidence in the Lord.

To establish and protect the church from the evil one, v. 3

To motivate the church to obedience, v. 4

To direct our hearts into the love of God and the patience of Christ, v. 5

Lamentations 3:26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the LORD.

Revelation 16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
